i know i didnt updat for a looooong time…. We went to watch “The Hiding Place” play last night. the whole theater was totally packed, and some people couldnt get in. btw, Heidi, Trippy, and Kristi r acting in it. (Great job, guys!) anyways, heres some pics…
Well, the title says it all i guess. Not actually tho, believe it or not. Haha… we went to Ripley’s Believe it or Not while we were in NIagara Falls. It was quite a blast, really, the whole deal. anyways, i dont really feel like writing a lot, so I’ll just post some pics…
Just got back from an awesome trip to Canada yesterday. Did lots of cool stuff with cousins, had a great time! Here’s sort of a timeline thingymabobber of what we did: Started off on… friday morning i think. got to uncle nate’s house in southern ontario on saturday afternoon, where more of the cousins and uncles and aunts were gathered. Someone he knew had left for a few days, and left their house empty, so we had a house to sleep in and didnt have to worry about being to loud… 
I assume those people knew we were sleeping there. lol… anyways, on monday forenoon, we drove the last four hours north to camp, which was about 40 minutes away from the nearest highway or town 
Of course, we stopped at Tim Hortons on the way. we always stopped at Tim hortons. anyways, we camped for a few days, then headed home. We stopped at Niagara Falls, sort of a last minute thing… That was awesome! so that’s about enough writing for now, so here’s some pics of cousins:
Yesterday was pretty much a cool day. It was the first day Mike and Sara were home (from the Youth Chorus Tour). So i didnt even have to go along to work! Anyways, I took some pictures that I did lots of post-processing on. So i decided to post some.
Jessica went to a tea party, so she wore this hat.
There were some pretty cool clouds floating lazily around.
That was actually 4 pics that i merged into one, then lightened and darkened parts of it.
Sara and I went on a walk at about “sunset-time”, and we were trying to take a pic, which is kinda hard if there’s nothing to set the camera on.
On a different subject, i did something a little ‘different’ today. Sara and Emily went to Inman to some kind of material store, so i decided to go along! So i did. But i decided it’s too expensive for my price range. Wow, is material ever expensive! like, 7 bux a yard or something…
i decided to update my blog. New statistics show that 9 out of 10 blogs are more interestinger if are updated often. Wow. Impressive. Anyways, the 4th is now past. 
On the 4th, i got up at 8, and justin, mike, nathan, and I went golfing at some place close to Nickerson. Lester and David were there too, but lester left after 9 holes and David and we played for a while longer. After that, we went to Spangles to eat, then to watch a softball game where Plainview and the Plainview Rejects and some other teams were playing. Then at about 6:00 or so, we started for Sterling to watch the fireworks. Lesters went too, and we ate at the park and.. had fun (-: After dark we watched fireworks for about half an hour or so, then we all went to Lesters’s house for cake and ice cream. Nathan’s birthday was on July 4, and David’s is on the 6th or something… so we stayed at lesters and talked and stuff till 12:30, then we headed home. So I was actually at home only about 10 minutes (awake) on the 4th! Here’s tons and tons of pics of the fireworks… Enjoy!
Oh yeah! The other day we (me, mom, nathan, sara, rachel, emily, and ida) went garage saling in Wichita! It was fun, like always. On the evening before, some of us went to Parsons to watch cousin Clifford sing… u can read about that here. I decided to post an hour-by-hour account of our experience… enjoy (:
6:00 – Everyone who is going along is rudely awakened. Nathan, however, doesnt get up until the rest of us are almost leaving, so we start late.We had agreed to meet Lesters at Center at 6:30.
6:30 -Frantic call from Emily to ask where we were. we got there about 4 minutes late.
7:00 – stopped at QwikShop and all the kids got cappaccino. I think maybe the water wasnt connected, because mine was just a thick, syruppy mess. Ida contributed a small container of donut holes, they were eaten very soon.
9:00 – still happily garage saling… one mom mentioned we could go home soon now. A good laugh all around. haha!
10:00 – Moms now started buying every big thing they saw. Rachel bought a “little” toy kitchen that she thought her grandkids might want. it was actually nowhere close to ‘little’. Next, my mom bought a big three-table set. Here’s two quotes from the lady we bought it from. :Oh, i’m sure you can fit them all into your van… it’s big.” and then a little bit later when she went out to help put it in: “You didnt tell me your van was full already!”
10:05 ‘Parental Control’ was decided to be inforced. basically, if the moms wanted to buy anything bigger than a shoe box, at least two kids had to approve it. This rule was, of course, completely ignored.
10:30 – went to eat at Freddy’s. Oh yeah!
11:00 – The moms seemed to have gotten about all they needed, but then sara bought a plastic-tree-in-a-pot or something like that. it was at least 7 feet high. then ida bought a shoe-holder thing, also very large. If you’re wondering what a “shoe-holder thing” is, there’s one in the playroom at McDonald’s to put your shoes in when u go sliding.
11:30 – Finally started on the long trip home. there was only half as much space in the van as there had been on the way that morning. I think we all felt very close on the way home. haha (that was a sort of pun)
All in all, i think everyone had fun and collected lots of junk stuff to stash away in boxes. I got some stuff, but nothing i wont use, of course lol. I am sorry to report that the camera didnt work some of the time while we were garage saling, so there arent any good pics of all the stuff in the van. i took some with a cell phone tho, so u can sort of see. anyways, here’s some pics. u can click on them for a detailed (or not) explantion of the pic.

I guess i just posted, but there’s an old saying, “You can’t post too often!” Actually, that saying is about 4 seconds old now, but stilll, i’m going to do a post. Today i spent a bunch of time going through pics i took in the last year or so, and i decided i might as well post some of them. Anyways so now i’m gonna post some about the sun/sunsets and such. I kinda like taking pics of that kinda thing, partly because it’s easy and i can actually do it (: so here goes…
Wow! i guess it’s been a little while since i updated… anyways, on Wednesday we went to Bloomfield (as the title suggests) to my uncle’s huge sale. He raises percheron horses and has raised horses since, i dunno, way back when. And they’re not exactly cheap horses either lol. I’m afraid if you’re reading this blog, you dont have enough money to buy the horse in the last pic. The top horse (in the last picture) sold for… wait for it… $105000! that’s a lot of money, really. I thought about posting a video of them selling that horse, but i didnt because
1. It would have been rather boring
2. I dont actually have a video of this horse being sold.
Since i dont really feel like writing more, i’ll just post some pictures from there… but since these ppl are amish, they’re not exactly thrilled about taking pictures and such, so i had to sort of try to not make it too obvious that i was taking pics of them lol. so that’s why i dont really have any great pics of ppl
